Fourth group receives ASLI
Students recently completing the Associate in Surplus Lines In-surance (ASLI) program were recognized at the NAPSLO Annual Convention in Chicago by the Foundation.
The top four graduates in the 2000 class are Seth H. Fischer, AIS, ASLI, senior underwriter, Western World Insurance Group; Robert W. Jensen, CPCU, AU, AIM, ARe, AIAF, ASLI, ARC, vice president, underwriting, Cooperative Mutual Insurance Company; Jeremiah F. Morris, CPCU, AIM, ARM, AIC, ASLI, attorney; and Lee J. Stanhope, CPCU, ARM, ASLI, vice president, Sumitomo Marine Management (USA), Inc.
Fischer, Jensen, and Morris won Awards for Academic Excellence, which include a cash award of $250. Stanhope, the Distinguished Graduate, won $500.
The Insurance Institute of America (IIA) developed the ASLI program for surplus lines professionals with support from NAPSLO and the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation, which sponsor and fund the academic awards.
