NAPSLO 2006 - Chicago The 2006 NAPSLO Annual Convention took place September 13-16 at the Hilton Chicago and more than 3,400 people attended the meeting. Convention registration and hotel materials were mailed to NAPSLO members in late May and are available for members to download.
The annual meeting began with the Opening Reception on Wednesday evening, September 13. Programs started on Friday with CBS News correspondent Mike Wallace presenting the annual Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation Lecture Series.
The convention closed with a special Legislative Breakfast on Saturday morning. The Legislative Breakfast covered 2006 election candidates and the possible impact on the industry. Due a decline in attendance at the Saturday night closing event, the convention ended at noon on Saturday.
