Education School Survey
The NAPSLO Education Committee is conducting a survey to examine the interest in the current NAPSLO educational schools and determine if there is enough demand for additional schools.
NAPSLO members were asked to fill out a survey in late January. If you haven't filled out a survey, click here by February 8 to complete the survey.
The Education Committee may follow up with you regarding your answers to solicit additional information or provide answers to questions.
NAPSLO offers the E&S School and the Advanced School. Registration materials for E&S School were recently mailed and are available to members to download from the NAPSLO website.
NAPSLO Political Action Committee
The NAPSLO PAC has received several contributions from NAPSLO members to assist the Association in its efforts to ensure that members of Congress consider and understand the views of the surplus lines industry.
The NAPSLO PAC is committed to supporting candidates for the U.S. House and Senate whose philosophies and attitudes are consistent with the goals of NAPSLO, the surplus lines industry and the wholesale brokerage system.
Under rules set up by the Federal Election Commission, the NAPSLO PAC is required to obtain a prior approval solicitation form, signed by a firm's executive, giving the PAC permission to solicit contributions from executives, administrative staff and stockholders, or just the individual executive.
A copy of the form is available from the PAC section of the Legislative area of the NAPSLO website and contributors should complete the form prior to making a contribution.
The NAPSLO PAC was formed in late 2005 following approval by the Association's Board of Directors and has been registered with the FEC, which regulates the solicitation and administration of PACs.

NAPSLO Audit
The annual financial audit for NAPSLO for the year ending July 31, 2005 was recently completed and copies are available by contacting the NAPSLO office.
In past years the annual audit was made available to NAPSLO member firms at the Annual Convention, however because of a serious illness by the auditor handling the NAPSLO account, the Association was forced to find a new auditing firm last summer, delaying the completion of the audit.
To request a copy of the audit, please contact the NAPSLO office at (816) 741-3910 or at info@napslo.org.
