2007 Convention Registration to start June 11
Registration for the 2007 NAPSLO Annual Convention in New Orleans will start on Monday, June 11. Registration materials were mailed June 8 and will be posted on the NAPSLO web site on June 11.

NAPSLO's 2007 Convention is scheduled for October 3-6 at the New Orleans Marriott and the Sheraton New Orleans.  

The theme of the convention is The Big Easy Rising: Rebirth, Rebuild and Renew. Several special events have been set for the meeting:  

• A special program has been set for Thursday morning featuring a group of top Brokers and Carrier representatives to discuss What's Ahead for the E&S Wholesaler?  
• A limited number of tables in the Broker's Lounge will be available for a fee for member firms to reserve.  
• James Carville and Mary Matalin will be the speakers at the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation Lecture on Friday.  
• NAPSLO is working with Habitat For Humanity on a program for Saturday morning for attendees to assist on a renovation project, or make a financial contribution. One firm has already notified NAPSLO that they have 30 attendees interested in the project. 

For registration prior to July 27, fees are $695 for the first five delegates from the same firm and $600 for the sixth and additional delegates. Spouse fees are $375 until July 27. Delegate fees after July 27 are $765 for delegates and $400 for spouses.  

The convention headquarter hotels are the New Orleans Marriott and the Sheraton New Orleans, and rooms are also available at the JW Marriott.
