Convention Wireless Access
NAPSLO will offer free wireless access in the Brokers' Lounge at the San Francisco Marriott at the upcoming convention, set for September 14-18.
The Brokers' Lounge will be open to registered attendees Wednesday, September 14 through Saturday, September 17 (see hours below) and attendees will be able to access the Internet.
Wednesday.........10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday...............7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday....................7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday...............8:00 a.m. - Noon
The wireless access replaces the Internet Kiosks available in past years.
Convention cancellations for members in Hurricane areas
NAPSLO member firms in areas impacted by the Hurricane Katrina with employees registered for the Annual Convention can cancel those registrations without penalty. NAPSLO is waiving the no refund policy for those impacted by the storm.
Hurricane Relief Efforts
Many NAPSLO member firms have indicated they are interested in contributing to the relief efforts and a list of organizations is available at the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Advanced School Sold Out
All spaces for the NAPSLO Advanced School, set for November 5-8 at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas, have been filled.
The Advanced School takes place each fall and is designed for those with more than five years experience in the surplus lines industry. The school offers a comprehensive look at surplus lines and provides an opportunity to meet with others in the industry.
The E&S School, held each summer, is for those with less than five years experience in the surplus lines industry.
