NAPSLO 2002-03 slate of Officers, Directors announced The NAPSLO Nominating Committee has issued its proposed slate of officers and directors for the Association for 2002-03.
NAPSLO member firms will vote on the proposed slate during the Annual Business Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 at the NAPSLO Annual Convention in Boston.
Nominated for officer positions are:
President - Nicholas D. Cortezi, All Risks, Ltd., Timonium, Maryland.
Vice President - H. James Griffith, Princeton Risk Managers, Inc., Princeton, New Jersey.
Secretary - Richard L. Polizzi, ASLI, Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers Inc., Pasadena, California.
Treasurer - L.M. (Mac) Wesson, Jr., U.S. Risk Insurance Group, Dallas, Texas.
Nominated for a new three year term on the board are: James S. Carey, CPCU, Admiral Insurance Company; Tim P. Makowski, Benchmark Management Group; and John F. Wood III, CIC, CIW, Specialty Risk Associates, Inc.
Renominated for new three-year terms on the board are: Bob R. McFall, McFall General Agency, Inc.; and Mary Ellen Rozzell, Continental/Marmorstein & Malone.
Directors are nominated for three-year terms on the Board. Officers are nominated for a one-year term.
Members of the Nominating Committee are Tom Curtin, CRC Insurance Services, Inc.; H. James Griffith, Princeton Risk Managers, Inc.; Richard L. Polizzi, Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers, Inc.; and Paul W. Springman, Markel North America. NAPSLO Immediate Past President John K. Latham, Colony Insurance Company, is chairman of the committee.
