The internship program was created to attract new talent to the surplus lines insurance industry. Since the program's inception in 1981, it has sponsored over 160 interns and over 50 percent of the former interns are currently working in the industry, and many are employed by NAPSLO member firms.

The 2008 application deadline will be December 1st. Additional information and an on-line application will be posted on the NAPSLO web site (www.napslo.org) in the fall.  Interested students may contact NAPSLO to be put on a waiting list for the materials. In addition, many university career services offices have the NAPSLO internship application and brochure.
