68  attend Advanced School

68 students registered for NAPSLO’s 3-day Advanced School in St. Louis at the end of October.

The Advanced School included sessions on reinsurance & alternative risk; recognizing scams; trends in e-business; errors and omissions; art of brokering, financial statements, claims, and legislation and regulation.

The Advanced School is designed for people with more than five years experience in the industry. The school offers a comprehensive look at surplus lines, and provides the opportunity to meet with others in the industry.  

The Advanced School opened with Perspectives From the Top, a presentation by Dale Pilkington, President of Colony Insurance.

The Executive Panel was comprised of Maureen Caviston, CPCU, Steven DeCarlo, Stephen J. Vaccaro, Jr., and Terry Younghanz.
