Reinsurance, work/life balance Mid-Year topics
A current perspective on reinsurance and an examination of how to balance work and life issues are among the topics for the upcoming NAPSLO Mid-Year Workshop, scheduled for March 1-3 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, Calif.
More than 625 people have registered for the Mid-Year Educational Workshop, selling out NAPSLOÕs hotel room block.
The opening reception will be Thursday, March 1. Programs get underway on Friday and will feature a presentation by Dr. Will Miller, a recognized expert in the area of organizational health and workplace culture, interpersonal relationships, and a professor at Purdue University.
Dr. Miller will speak to attendees on how to communicate, interact, and work together with the greatest efficiency and productivity; balance career achievement with personal satisfaction; and in a Òbottom lineÓ world, how to sustain peak performance.
On Saturday, March 3, NAPSLO will assemble a panel on reinsurance covering current and future perspectives as well as emerging issues as seen by reinsurance brokers and reinsurers.
In addition to the programs, the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation has planned a golf outing on Friday afternoon, March 2.
The Mid-Year Workshop will end Saturday night with a Grand Casino Night Nightcap Party.
The Nightcap Party will take place from 9:00 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and will allow delegates the opportunity to make dinner reservations on their own.
