NAPSLO to offer two E&S School sessions in 2007
Registration for the 18th annual NAPSLO E&S School will start at the end of February.
To meet the expanding requests to attend the school, NAPSLO will offer two sessions in 2007. Session I will be June 9-12 and Session II will be June 12-15.
Both sessions will take place at the Eric P. Newman Education Center in St. Louis. The cost is $1,000 and includes lodging at the Parkway Hotel, located nearby.
"For many years the school has sold out and we hope that offering two classes will allow more students to attend," said Education Co-Chair Randy Jones. "Even though we have two schools, members are still encouraged to register early."
Classes offered at the sessions include Distribution System, Market Dynamics, MGAs & Brokers, Risk Takers, segments on regulation and financial accounting, and a presentation about LloydÕs.
Instructors at the two sessions of the E&S School include: Richard Bouhan, NAPSLO; James S. Carey, CPCU Admiral Insurance Company; John M. DiBiasi, CPCU, XL Excess & Surplus Lines; Dave Leonard, RSUI Group; Jill K. Jinks, CPCU, ASLI, The Insurance House, Inc.; Marshall P. Kath, Colemont Brokerage Group, Inc., and Marcus Payne, NAPSLO.
The registration deadline for both sessions is April 27th. On the registration form students should list the preference of which session they would like to attend. NAPSLO will attempt to honor each request but cannot guarantee it.
Students should not make travel arrangements until they receive confirmation of which session they will attend.
Registration materials will be mailed to members and also be available to download from the E&S School section of the Meetings area of NAPSLO's web site.
