Technology Report:
NAPSLO to update industry technology survey
The NAPSLO Communications & Technology Committee is working to update the technology survey previously undertaken in 2003.
In early February, NAPSLO will send out the survey via e-mail. Each NAPSLO contact is requested to complete the survey or forward it to the IT department to be completed.
The deadline to complete the survey is February 16, and the committee plans to have the results available for distribution at the Mid-Year.
The report will also include results from 2003, so members can see the changes and benchmark their firm against other firms.
The results of the 2003 survey are currently available to download from the Technology section of the web site.
The 2007 survey will include many of the same questions, with updates based on changes in technology and additional questions to reflect changes in the industry.
The Committee is hoping to update the survey every few years so members can continue to view how they compare to others in the industry.
