Annual Convention: San Diego
NAPSLOs 2008 Annual Convention is scheduled for September 10-13 in San Diego, California, and registration materials were made available in early June.
The convention theme will be Mission San Diego: Navigating Change.
The Opening Reception is on Wednesday evening. Because of a limited number of rooms available on Tuesday, registration and the Brokers Lounge will open at Noon on Wednesday.
Programs will be held on Friday and Saturday mornings. In addition to the usual set-up, NAPSLO will again be offering reserved tables in the Brokers Lounge areas for an additional fee.
Fridays Derek Hughes/Foundation Lecture will feature Glenn Beck. On Saturday morning, Jordan Lieberman, who spoke at the Mid-Year Workshop, will be joined by Fred Davis who worked on Sen. John McCains campaign, to discuss how campaign ads and tactics can be used to hit candidates below the belt and how voters will come to understand entirely new definitions of what it means to be in a tough race.
