Technology Report: Retail Agent/E&S Working Group seeks volunteers
NAPSLO, in cooperation with the AAMGA, is looking for volunteers to serve on a new Working Group to be formed and conducted jointly with the IIABAs Agents Council on Technology (ACT).
The new Retail Agent/E&S Working Group is being formed to further the electronic exchange of information between retailers and MGA/Wholesalers, and also to explore opportunities for enhanced workflows between the members of these groups.
NAPSLO, AAMGA members and vendors are invited to be a part of this effort, and to help usher in a new era for the industry.
John Deibler, Scottsdale Insurance Co., and Angelyn Treutel, Chair of ACT, will be co-chairs of the group.
Most of the meetings are expected to take place via conference calls, although the working group may meet at other industry conferences.
Please e-mail mike@napslo.org if you are interested in volunteering on the committee.
More information will be forthcoming about the conference call and meeting schedules.
The working group was developed as the result of previous work by AAMGA and NAPSLO with ACT on ways to improve the data flow between the segments in the industry.
Establishing a Working Group was also suggested during the presentation by Jeff Yates, Executive Director of ACT, during the NAPSLO sponsored keynote address at the AAMGA Automation Conference this spring.
