AM Best - AM Best is a leading provider of insurance company ratings and financial information as well as a specialized publisher of insurance periodicals and electronic products. Best publishes the U.S. Surplus Lines Market Reviews.
Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) is a leading supplier of statistical, actuarial, and underwriting information for and about the property/casualty insurance industry. Provides a number of links to other organizations and topics.
Legal Information Institute - Cornell University provides links to state insurance statutes.
NAIC is the organization of insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the four territories. The NAIC offers links to the state insurance offices. Because the Quarterly Listing of Alien Insurers has become the authoritative regulatory source for the eligibility of non-U.S. insurers pursuant to the Nonadmitted Insurance title of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and
Consumer Protection Act, the NAIC is now making this list of insurers available to the public. The listing provides brokers, exempt commercial purchasers, and insureds with assurance as to the eligibility of non-U.S. insurers with which excess and surplus lines insurance business is being quoted or placed. The public Quarterly Listing of Alien Insurers is now available for download on the NAIC website.
