NAPSLO Meetings
NAPSLO offers several industry and educational meetings during the year to members. There are two industry/educational meetings, the Annual Convention and the Mid-Year Leadership Forum, and three educational schools; the NAPSLO Excess & Surplus Lines School, the Marcus Payne Advanced
School and the Executive Leadership School.
Annual Convention
More than 3,400 delegates attend the Annual Convention each fall. The convention offers programs on current industry issues and provides attendees an opportunity to interact and network with other members. In addition, members elect new officers and directors for the coming year.
The 2012 NAPSLO Annual Convention was October 8-11, 2012 in Atlanta. Members met throughout the convention to discuss Association business and Governor Jeb Bush gave a keynote speech on current regulatory and market issues facing Excess & Surplus lines firms.
The 2013 convention will take place September 30 - October 3, 2013 in San Diego. Information on the 2013 Annual Convention will be available in early May.
Mid-Year Leadership Forum
NAPSLO hosts an annual Mid-Year Leadership Forum offering the leaders of NAPSLO member firms the opportunity to attend educational programs on the industry and business. The 2013 Mid-Year Leadership Forum took place February 25-28 in Miami Beach, FL and nearly 600 people attended..
