Education Committee

The Education Committee is chaired by Gilbert Hine and Jacque Schaendorf.
The Committee provides an expanding array of educational opportunities designed specifically to meet the changing needs of NAPSLO members.
The E&S School, offered since 1990, provides educational support to the Surplus Lines industry. This school is designed for insurance professionals with one to five years experience in the Surplus Lines industry.
The Advanced School, offered since 1995, provides a comprehensive look at Surplus Lines and allows the opportunity to meet with others in the industry. This school is designed for insurance professionals with five or more years experience in the Surplus Lines industry.
Initial work was started on creating the inaugural Executive Leadership School to be held in February 2009 at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. The school is designed for senior level members and future industry leaders who wish to broaden their perspectives on important social, political and economic issues affecting the
future of our industry.
