The Career Awareness & Internship Committee is chaired by Steven Gross and Carlton Maner.  The mission of the Committee is to attract bright, enthusiastic college students (juniors and seniors) majoring in Insurance/Risk Management to our industry segment – Excess & Surplus Lines – through our summer Internship Program. Their mission is also to network NAPSLO members to create interest, awareness and enthusiasm about opportunities in the Surplus Lines and wholesale distribution channel.

The Committe’s goals are to establish and maintain close working relationships with the faculty of our targeted colleges and universities, support and participate in the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation sponsored symposiums, provide members the opportunity to host an Intern, and make our membership more aware of the young pool of talent that exists within their region of the country.
