Robert T. Sargent Elected President of NAPSLO
Robert T. Sargent, RPLU, CPCU, ARM, Hartford CT, was elected President of NAPSLO during the 2011 NAPSLO Annual Convention.
NAPSLO member firms voted to approve the slate of Officers and Directors at the Association’s Annual Business Meeting on October 12. The business meeting took place at the convention at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.
Mr. Sargent is President & CEO of Tennant Risk Services, a West Hartford, Connecticut, based underwriting manager and broker. He received his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and his MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
He has served on several NAPSLO committees, including Education School Advisory and Members’ Forum prior to his election the NAPSLO Board, where he first served as co-chair of the Communications & Technology Committee. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation.
