The 2010 NAPSLO Annual Convention will take place October 11-14 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and will feature networking, a presentation by the founder of one of the top surplus lines carriers, and traditional honors and awards recognition of members and others in the industry.
 
NOTE: The online meeting registration site for NAPSLO will be down for maintenance on Thursday, August 19 from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (Eastern).

---------->Online registration <--------- for the meeting will start on Tuesday, June 15 and representatives of NAPSLO member firms can register for the meeting and reserve a hotel room at either of the convention hotels during the online registration process.

Note: The Marriott is sold out of hotel rooms on Monday & Tuesday nights, however a limited number of Diplomat one-bedroom suites are still available. Hotel rooms are still available at the Hyatt.

Registration fees are $795 for Delegates and $395 for Spouses until September 1 and $895 and $425 after that date. Hotel rooms are $219 at the Marriott and $199 at the Hyatt.

Members also can download a registration form and mail the forms into NAPSLO with payment. Suites and meeting rooms must be reserved through separate forms but Broker’s Lounge Club Tables may be reserved during the online registration process.

The meeting will open on Monday, October 11 and the Opening Reception will take place that night. Tuesday will be left mostly open for members to meet with other members however the Next Generation group has set up a panel discussion on Tuesday October 12, followed by a reception for Next Generation members.

Convention programs take place on Wednesday morning, featuring William R. Berkley of the W.R. Berkley Corporation presenting the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation Lecture Series.

In addition to the presentation annual member awards and intern and ASLI graduate recognition programs will take place on Wednesday. A Happy Hour reception is set for Wednesday afternoon, prior to member private functions that night.
